If the business in question is a 'franchise', retail operation, food related, or service organization that has a multi-state or nationwide presence, our years of experience have taught us that each individual location may have different managers (signors) responsible for that business, and even the known corporate officers may not be authorized signors for the individual locations. Under those conditions, we will likely to able to confirm the active accounts exist, but probably won't be able to provide account details (balances, number of accounts, transactions, etc.), without knowing who the specific authorized parties (signors) are.
Be advised: IRA, 401K and related retirement accounts will likely require considerable more information to access. Complete employment history, including start and separation dates, passwords, mother’s maiden name, etc., can all be requirements to access these types of accounts. Full account numbers may be required depending on the institution holding the assets.
*We can usually verify the existence of those accounts without these details, but we may not be able to provide current balances or transaction details without full account numbers. If we can verify the existence of the accounts, but not the balance, this is still considered a hit.
